"Assistance with appraisal, please."

I am from the Middle East and I have an old pearl necklace. I evaluated one of the pearls after removing the thread, and it turned out to be a freshwater cultured pearl. I would like to have the entire necklace appraised with the goal of selling it. How can I do this, and what do you estimate the price of a single pearl (weighing one carat) might be?

It has very little value, unfortunately. Pearls like this are worth a few dollars at most.
