Are these odd shapes Baroque Pearls?

Hi group. Was wondering if these odd shaped pearls are baroque? They are very pretty and have a nice gold covered silver clasp. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They look like Freshwater pearls to me.

Yes, these are cultured freshwater pearls from China, as Corvettegirl says. These baroque shape pearls were cultured with a tiny piece of mantle tissue; there is no bead inside to make them round, an advantage is they are all nacre and very wearable.

I love pearls with a lot of visual interest...here the element is texture! This looks like a fun strand to wear, and that clasp is very pretty too.
