Anyone recognize what type of pearl I have?

I found this in a pile of imported shells in Florida. It’s not perfectly round and is about 1/2 inch wide. It has some clear area on one side that hopefully you can see in the pictures.

Thank you. I would think the same but it’s not perfectly round. Beads are made by a machine made to be perfect. Still a mystery to me. I’ve had a few jewelers look at it and one said nacre, another said not sure then another said it’s a marble.

This is not a pearl by any description. More likely a slingshot round.

I found it on an area where the public wasn’t permitted but we had a photo shoot and were allowed on the shelled area. I suppose that’s why I thought it might be something other than man made. Thanks for the input everyone. Appreciate it.
