Hi, I inherited this strand from my late Aunt, and I have to admit that I really do not know much about pearls. My Uncle purchased these in 1958 for several hundred dollars. Can anyone tell me what type they are, and what their value might be? Thank you so much!

Oh, and they are about 32" in length.

It's hard to tell from the photo. They are either akoya or faux. Can you shoot them with the macro setting of your camera? Just a few pearls within the strand should do it.
