Another eBay question…

Good morning! I wonder if I could possibly ask for some expert eyes on the strand in this photo please? Do they look like freshwater pearls?

They have a Mikimoto clasp (missing its little pearl) but I don’t for a minute think the actual pearls match that! However, I have a vintage strand of Mikimoto pearls with a broken clasp like this one, so it’s *almost* worth it to be able to repair that without soldering etc. Given how rarely the vintage clasps are available and how much they sell for, I’ll be happy enough to have that to fix my own strand with. If they’re even real pearls I’ll see that as a bonus

Update- although the seller is adamant that both the strand and clasp are genuine Mikimoto, I returned these the same day they arrived. I see they are for sale again elsewhere.

That does not look like a real Miki clasp to me. I hope you get your full money back.

It’s not even close. I did get a full refund almost immediately, but it bothers me a bit that they’re still for sale.
