All nacre pearls. Where are these from?

Hello,
I'm new to this very informative forum and was wondering if anyone recognized what oyster these natural pearls may have come from. I have had them for nearly 40 years in two temporary strands.
Thank you.

that I got them from (the did estates at the time)told me they were saltwater, but I had never seen them with such odd shapes. All my other
natural pearls are mostly round and are more uniform in color. So these could be saltwater?

Thanks for your reply. It's appreciated.

I am on vacation and looking at the latter picture via a handheld, but that photo does not look like natural saltwater to me. They look like cultured baroque akoya. Unless those tails are actually knots, that strand is a low-grade cultured akoya.

The first strand looks very similar to the early Biwa, or those that were marketed as Biwa.

Actually, the second photo came from one of those Anniversary (or Add-A-Pearl) Oriental Natural pearl strands. It came in the original box with its papers saying they were "natural Oriental pearls" and are all about 3mm in size. They definitely are "little girl" pearls and came from the original owner. :)
