Hi y'all,
I know I told y'all that we were going to keep the pearls, buy my triplets and I decided to sponsor an orphan this Christmas on Reece's Rainbow's Angel Tree. That means that we are trying to raise $1000.00 for his adoption fund (no one has committed to him, but the theory is that the funds available towards his adoption will help a family to commit to him - the typical cost is around $25,000 - $35,000 depending on where the child is located.). So we decided to sell some antiques for his fund. Actually we will be giving them away to the person who donates a set amount to his tax-deductible account. http://reecesrainbow.org/75608/seton
Many special needs children are abandoned in several countries of Eastern Europe, as well as China and some surrounding countries. They are usually transferred to adult mental institutions at the age of 5 where they live until they die. Meet Seton
Isn't he precious! His account has $54.50 in it right now ( that $4.50 is from the angel tree campaign - big start ) Here's a link to the campaign in case anyone is interested in learning more. Seton is somewhere in the middle I think. http://static.reecesrainbow.org/angeltree2014/
First, can anyone suggest a dollar amount that I should ask as a donation for Kay's Pearls?
You remember them, right?
Second, is there any interest in this group?
Thanks a bunch for any help or suggestions!!
