    Lol! Maybe they are both low quality akoyas, but the ones on Etsy were tested as natural. I still don’t plan spending the money on special X-ray testing to find out though! Thanks again!

    This was the picture he showed me when he was explaining what they were, but I think you’re right! Plus, some of the little pearls on mine almost have a silvery rainbow sheen which doesn’t look like one he showed me. I’m glad I didn’t waste money on an x-ray! Thanks again!

    Okay, thank you! A local jeweler thought they were natural saltwater pearls, but said I’d have to pay a lot for an x-ray to confirm. I’ll definitely pass on that then! Thanks!!
