Oddly enough...I am definitely seeing more guys wearing white pearl studs (on both ears) versus dangles. This has all been an interesting last two years in that sense. So far this year only one client has asked for a stud, and he said "Black Pearls"....:rolleyes:

My Aunt used to put a baby food jar of water in her SDBx. A jeweler ages ago would do the same thing for his showcases and opals, an told her to do this for pearls and opal jewelry in the SDB. But my Aunt liked to visit her jewelry often so there is that.

I wish we could bundle all the threads on this topic. Its a great refresher. I used the Microwave method on a GSSP, but I am always a bit nervous using that technique on a costly pearl.
