Help identifying, evaluating and makers mark please...

I'd guess that the clasp is a pretty standard manufactured clasp. 585 is 14k gold. It's a ball clasp that you can still buy. The are decent quality but certainly not a gem grade. I can't help with valuation as Akoya aren't my thing . But I'm sure Jeremy can tell you all about them.

    Are these real?

585 generally means 14k I'd imagine that the first mark is a manufacturers mark.

Influencer Marketing's Impact on Consumer Trust and Purchase Behavior in the UK Pearl Jewellery Industry

Definitely the wrong place to ask. I'm on IG and generally can't stand influencers and certainly wouldn't be swayed by one.

    Linda's Lowly Beading Adventures

I love the little diamond beads .. I've done pieces with little black spinel as well. As Sarah commented the fine beading wire is probably the best on those little sharp holes. And you don't need a needle - just poke it through. It drapes pretty well.. not quite like thread but pretty good...

New (to us) Deco Mikimoto Bracelet

It's very pretty ! I'd think it wouldn't be too difficult to shorten. If you remove the final pearls from each end for around 16 mm ( including knots ) or the final two that's about 28-30 mm (including knots ) . That at least keeps the 3 pearl / spacer pattern for the majority of the...

    Pearls, Pugs, and Beads

So pretty ! And so much work ! My patience certainly would not allow me to attempt such pieces... I'd probably throw them across the room at some point lol.

    Is this worth its price?

Definitely ask for a few more photos that are not under a light box . The colours may not be that intense looking in most conditions.

Yes 2thdktr ... I was surprised by the use of Keshi instead of baroque. If it's nucleated then as I've always understood then it can't be Keshi. In the same vein, I've seen a lot of pearls trecently hat are being described as Keshi that are small oval and semi round very symmetrical in shape...

    Sticky residue on Tahitian pearls

Pomelo - I love Keshi studs. They generally lay pretty flat and have all that flattish surface to add presence . The little hills and valleys catch the light beautifully. jeg - Lovely pearls - those sweet little teeny kasha....glad my fat fingers didn't have to string them !! BWeaves -...
