Hmmm, looking at a few of their other items - huge 'south sea' keshi strands for 4599 GBP? Definitely Chinese freshwaters, which, whilst beautiful, are worth a fraction of that price. I also think your strand looks like CFWP.

Just a quick addition to this thread... I recently was shown a strand of Tiffany pearls - tiny (6.5mm or so?) rice shaped pearls with a sterling silver toggle clasp and the ubiquitous T charm - RRP in Australia was $629. I could buy the same pearls (the VERY same) for around $4 per strand...

Couldn't agree more, R&B... the Paspaley store in Sydney in Martin Place is just gorgeous. I will be in the city today and tomorrow - might try to post some pics of the building's exterior. It really is a fantastic use of an iconic, historic, building. Oh, it does have some nice pearls, too...
