    New and less new pearls

This is a strand of lavender keshi. They are huge and very light (maybe they are soufflé?). These and other keshi are the kinds of pearls that I would never have bought in the past. I liked drops but couldn't handle ripples or keshi because I thought they looked like baby teeth (the small...

    New and less new pearls

It's possible you're all a bit sick of these posts but I'm on a roll and will keep going until I burn out! These are more CC pearls, there are two strands that I wear together. These are baroque SS with pinky roundish FWPs.

    New and less new pearls

This is a similar rope, but the discus ripples are pale and the rounds are white. You can't tell from the photos, but the ripples are gently rainbowy, which was lovely to discover.

    New and less new pearls

Here is the 80-something inch pink ripple and small rounds/ovals from Catherine Cardellini. I normally wear doubled, but like I said, rope photos are hard!

    New and less new pearls

The first two show the necklace from the first post in this thread. I've been admiring this all week and think it has the best lustre of all my strands. The last photo is a shot of the strand that I took at work this last week. The third photo shows the stronger golden SS and a white SS from...

    New and less new pearls

The first one is the photo I mean to post before. We then move on to some of my Catherine Cardellini SS strands. The first few are SS keshi. These are apparently quite rare. They go nicely with the new strand that I showed at the start of the thread, the SS new one from Imogene. The photos then...

    New and less new pearls

More of the Tahitian/SS rope, and a group shot of some of the strands. I'll come back to these. -- oops I just saw a double post, sorry --

    New and less new pearls

More of my mixed Tahitian and SS rope. This one is very hard to photograph.

    New and less new pearls

I'm doing these in no particular order. These are more photos of the large roundish Tahitians from Jan Logan. Seriously, these neck shots were originally quite colourful. By the way, the last one was just to try and get more pearls in shot!

    New and less new pearls

This is another CC ripple strand, it's quite purple in real life. The colours are leaching out of my neck shots. I'm only including them so you can see sizes.

    New and less new pearls

I am having One Drive issues! The photos are taking forever. I'm also losing clarity in the process to upload. Anyway, the colours are right. This is a ripple rope from Catherine Cardellini. I just love it, there are heaps of comma shapes that I find really pleasing.

Thank you! Yes, it's around 80 inches. I got some good pictures this morning and will upload once I can get them onto my iPad....

    New and less new pearls

Thank you for your comments. It's funny, I always feel weird saying thank you because it's not like I personally did anything to bring these glorious things into being, but we all know that 😀. Thank you for posting! I have been at work this week and only just came back to trying to take better...

    New and less new pearls

These are Pearl Paradise Tahitians from the 2014 Tahitian sale. I bought three strands and this is around 50 inches of them. I think they are around 8.5-11.2.

    New and less new pearls

Here are a couple of the rounds with keshi strands that Catherine does so well. I'll try neck shots of these, they make all the difference. It was babynurse's photos that got me into these and Catherine's range of fwp keshi. Photos 2 and 3 are the same strand. Photo 4 shows the two together.

    New and less new pearls

Thanks CrazyMissy! Here are some more keshi from Catherine Cardellini. This one is a long rope, it's gorgeous. The bronzes are coming out strongly - in real life these and the keshi above are much more blue.

    New and less new pearls

I do recommend Imogene. Kathryn's shop lives inside an antiques store at the end of the strip of Clifton Hill shops. Her contact details are on the internet. Clifton Hill is a suburb close to th city. Each of my three ropes I bought from Kathryn (the two mixed south seas and the drop Tahitians)...
