    i'm not sure what size gimp pattye has (its the only kind i've tried) but i think some companies make different sizes that might accommodate thicker threads? i had a similar problem but while i was able to get the 3 strands of beaders' secret through the gimp, i wasn't able to get all 3 strands...

    lol. the pearls and thread are one thing as they don't take up much space. equipment is harder as we live in a small city house and space is at a premium. plus i already have a tumbler that's collecting rather a lot of dust. anyone want to trade a tumbler for a drill?
