Here is my other set of earring jackets, only 12mm in diameter, and I can wear them with 4 different pairs of studs, 6mm pearls in black and white, 6mm plain ball and my near 1tctw diamond studs. I tend to wear these a lot more often than the other pair. DK :)

I have a custom made diamond earring jackets for 8mm pearls, very versatile indeed. Shown with my 8mm white Freshadamas in place: I aim to get a pair of small 8mm Tahitians, a pair of 8mm plain WG balls, and may be some suitable coloured gemstones to go with them. DK :)

No expert either, however, I too believe it is a nice strand of off-round CWFPs. Clamp shells as endings as seen in this strand are not very secure, and I too would strongly recommend to have the strand re-strung with knots in between for added security. DK :)

When a strand of pearls is not knotted in between the pearls, if the string breaks, the pearls will just slide down the string towards the opened ends and fall onto the ground. Notable examples that come to mind in films for great dramatic effect of pearls tumbling onto the ground are Witches...
