Thank you, Cees. It, certainly, will be an interesting quest. Is the harvesting usually in October?

    Vietnamese Akoya?

Thank you, Paresh, as well, but a few more questions. What size pearls did you receive? What farm did they come from or what distributor? Have you been receiving Vietnamese pearls on a regular basis?

    Vietnamese Akoya?

I am so curious about the current state of Vietnamese Akoya pearls, too. There seems like so much potential there. I am hoping that they have been able to maintain the nacre thickness. Going through as much information as possible on the web, there doesn't seem to be much current info out...

    The Long-Awaited GIA Pearls course!

A little disappointed that there is no consideration for having taken the previous courses. I'm sure three is loads of wonderful new material, but it's fairly expensive for an update. What do you think?

Cheez! This sounds so fabulous that I can't believe it hasn't received a complete sign on! I know the thread is a little out--dated at this point, but if I can open it up again, I would be so thrilled!

    John Tu's Pearls

How much was he charging for the Kasumi-like pearls? Where were they from? They do look so much like Sarah's pearls.
