    You have a good eye, yes, I can see that now. I cannot return them because I bought a large lot of them at good will. Question I have though, I have seen via my research that some real pearls can peel, is this true? Just trying to learn.

    Hi group. This is a recent purchase of silver pearl necklace with a round pave 10Kti white gold (not marked) magnetic clasp. The pearls are cold, heavy and slightly gritty. I have taken some photos of the holes to possibly help with identification. Thanks for any information.

    Yes, the 13-16 mm size is relating to some being smaller in length. I guess I was thinking South Sea because they are more satin like in appearance. Thank you for your response.

    I have these strung pearls without a clasp and are curious as to whether they are South Sea pearls because of the size. They measure 13 to 16 mm and have various tones to them, such as silver, gold, blue, pink, champagne. They were purchased in a lot of pearls online. Thanks to any for your help

    I know nothing about Mikomotor but did some googling about pearls and did think that most have some kind of blemishes or imperfections. It can be confusing at times. Thank you for your input.

    I actually did clean them by soaking in dishwashing liquid for a bit, but, the string is definitely still grimy. I appreciate your suggestion and help. T
