I ordered a copy from Rio Grande about a month ago and received it two days later. I assume that means they have them in stock and ready to ship. Might be faster to order from them than go through the German publisher.

I love the daylight pics. I think you need matching dangle earrings. Maybe baroque silver tahitian studs with a peacock dangle on a jump ring/chain so you can wear it with or without the dangle........and then you might just need a bracelet too (so then you should send me your flameball...

And since I started playing with pearls, I got some of my other strands out. They are a PP metallic fw rope just in today (thanks Jeremy for being patient with all my revisions), a near round pondslime strand and pondslime keshi strand from Kojima (thanks again Sarah!) and a coin pearl strand...

Hi everyone, A friend of mine asked me to send her comparison pics of my new PP madamas and my less new but still loved PP blue baroque akoyas. I thought I would share them here. I slipped a white hanadama strand in between to break up the color.

I really wish the answer was as easy as restringing. The pearls are set in silver brooches/pendants. One brooch is a seahorse with a belly full of pearls and a pearl eye. It is hard to clean the silver without touching the pearls. I'll check out that ultrasonic cleaner though. Thanks!

I'm rehashing an old thread because I have the same question as the original poster. I have some vintage Mikimoto pieces in silver with pearls and I don't know how to get the tarnish off the silver without damaging the pearls. I don't think I'd like to experiment with the baking soda method...

Looking for some help. I noticed Mikimoto does not use the term "hanadama" on their grading scale. Does this mean that not all their pearls would meet the "hanadama" grading standards of the PSL?
