    Pearl Guide Ruckus 2010

Thanks Keshibelle & Nerida! I do love my husband in his new man-pearl. I do want to send a shoutout to Hisano for putting together my beautiful new strand of Tahitian pearls! She did a fantastic job blending two strands together for me into a glorious 35" strand. It was fun watching her knot...

    Earrings

I'm totally all about the dangle earrings. I always seem to loose the backings of post earrings. I have found that dangle earrings on shepherds hook findings do not drift off your ear if they are weighted properly. If you are going to do larger post earrings, you might look into studs with...

    Investment

As a retail salesperson, I have never recommend using jewelry as an investment vehicle. Values in the secondary market are never a sure thing. If you want to invest in something precious, I would suggest precious metals more than a strand of fabulous pearls. But even that is tricky, with gold...

    Cartier Exhibit San Francisco

Neiman Marcus in Bellevue, WA has a special collection of Cartier pieces on display too. Lot of diamonds but what got me was the 34" strand of South Sea pearls that were 20+ mm and perfectly round. Mmmm... While they aren't my favorite designer either, but what they do do, they do very well.
