its hard to say from pictures but colors match abalone for sure and 99.9 % of all abalone pearls i have have patches and spots on them so its very much possible

these where offered to me some months ago seller had somewhere between 1000 and 2000 pearls for sale what i could see from the email think some more members here had these pearls offered so for the question are they rare yes they are rare but there are several thousands for sale :)

the last few years i have been buying thousands worth of pearls and was wondering if anyone knows what the best climate is for pearls? this so i can build ( read let someone build ) a climate control cabinet for them, i know quite some jewelers from old family s where the natural pearls did not...

there was a huggggggge lot of pipi for sale some months ago they send me pictures of some thousand pearls with quite nice ones he also knew laurent so probable the pearls of one of them

50 % is from tamatoa of these pearls :) and the interview in a dutch magazine i ones posted about the cook islands was written by and about him :)

think it will mostly be sold as tahitian because selling cook and fiji pearls is just so much more easy calling them tahitians since thats what people know i think the name will be tahitian even tho i sell your pearls as cook island black pearls most of the time people come in for Tahitians and...

sooooo to go long back what precisely is a crab pearl i have someone who is sending one here that was found in a king crab leg and its on its way right now since i wanted to see what it was still when i read the post its not much good about being a pearl haha kari also has some people...
