Wow, the ones over a year ago were stunning. I bought two strands ( well actually a third later too), and I wear them more than any of my other stands. Can't wait to see what the new ones are like.
I just watched the film North by Northwest with Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint the other night. I loved the jewelry she wore and noticed a very pretty pearl necklace she had on towards the end of the film. It was almost a chocker style and made with delicate sized pearls. Kind of reminded me of...
Those are so pretty! Do they look that great in real life? I've been considering plain white freshwater studs but seeing those makes me wonder if I'd like some akoya studs too.
I saw! Everyone, if you don't own baroque akoyas yet and your budget allows you should totally get some! I bought a necklace a while back and it's one of my favorite pieces.
They are sooo pretty. My mother in law doesn't own any pearls and is always admiring mine so I figured they would make a nice Christmas gift.
Plus I wanted to show off some pics of my kitty cat Peter and my little girl :)
Only one thing had been purchased a few minutes ago. I was tempted. but I am really still very much a new inexperienced beader. I have made a few pairs of pearl earrings and am about to start my first stringing project. Can't wait to see what you guys get and create.
