    Though the pearls in photos are not Bangladeshi Natural Pearls. I would like to add that there is still supply of Natural Pearls from Bangladesh mostly from rivers (freshwater), but not seen Bangladeshi salt water pearls for more then a decade.

    yes they are heat treated and dyed fresh water pearls, dyed in India and the surface is smooth as in the photo. It can be mistaken for Tahiti Pearls.

    This thing happens when during processing if you don't control the heat properly the surface skin gets burnt and it gets highlighted when they are bleached or dyed. And in severe cases pearl develops cracks.

    Yes, they are very white and are untreated Natural Pearls. I make half-drilled/fulldrilled and also Half-cut (half-pearl) from them. I don't make jewellery myself, but I do supply (Round pearls) to my customers who use it to make jewellery. I would post photo of round pearls also.

    Yes, they are natural white only very very small percentage are blackish,reddish,orange colour. They usually come from below 1mm up to 3mm above 3mm are extremely rare

    Pearls from Scottish river Tay

    Hi From the picture it seems that it has been someones favourite and has been used very often. The pearl used are probably half-cut. A pretty one to have in ones collection.
