I don't know where to put this! I am past halfway in the course but life caught up to me and I have been gone like.. over a week probably? How long do we have to take and finish the course before we have to start all over?
It's literally amazing. I was happy to see one night at least ONE other person was from here was also trying to spread information and linking this forum as well. That was good to see. Unfortunately they grab pitchforks and block the people after being horrible to them that try to explain. Some...
I have watched many people try to explain this - as I have tried to explain it myself. They don't care. They actually say we are just "haters" and that we need to do our research. Most of them I have seen go on for 3 hours average and are constantly opening oysters for people who have paid. I...
I wasn't talking about the pearls themselves. I was talking about the cost of the stupid oysters they use for these parties and what the average mlm company is charging vs the companies you find online are charging. They seem to charge 5 ish dollars an oyster for the pearl parties to the people...
That's exactly what it is.
There was a guy the other night I watched who sold 5 for 100 dollars with out jewelry. If you think about it most of those cost ... around 5 dollars a piece. I don't know anything about what they cost from the company but say they are around 5 dollars. He sold 128...
I am trying to decide one multiple sets of earrings for the top and bottom sets or just the top set and restring the bottom set.. I need to order some clasps in anyway. Now that I have them I am worried I will pick the wrong application for them hahaha
I kinda thought that with the size, I just was thrown off by that luster! They are gorgeous tiny little guys, I hadn't seen any of mine have that kind of luster yet!
Top strand is about 5mm, middle is about 6.5 mm and the bottom is around... 4.5 mm
I have them in hand, just got them cleaned up :) I will take some more shots here in just a bit, we have no natural light today which blows but I'll try to get some better lighting on them
My guess personally is top and middle photo are dyed freshwaters but the small white ones on the bottom are throwing me off because they have more luster than any of the other freshwaters I have seen thus far but are small.
I think it paid off. Found a guy that had these and didn't normally sell pearls. Got them for a good price and all seem to be genuine cultured pearls. Being I am so new I didn't want to identify them incorrectly or miss anything. Three different strands will get more pictures if needed
So I have tried to explain all of this to many people and they don't care! They don't want to know! They just want to do it. They want to spend their money on this. I don't get it
I will start!
I have always had a love of nature and how things are formed. Rocks, unique plants, fossils.. you name it. I find it fascinating. Unfortunately, pearls never ran in the family so I didn't have any exposure to them until recently with the awful pearl parties. After getting past...
Everyone is crafty - they just have to find what they are good at ;) I spin yarn too and everyone thought I was crazy hahah.
There's nothing wrong with sticking to buying completed jewelry! I can only hope to one day be able to afford gorgeous necklaces like some of you have!
Good cause I just bought a whole bunch of colors and some needles from you. I have a few strings to practice on too. I will for sure take pictures and probably ask what people think so I know if I am doing ok or sucking it up hahah! Thank you!
