I love the silvery peacocks too. My favourite though are the dark colourful baroques with bands of colours. I also like the silvers with dark blue green overtones like these earrings

EileenK, the moisture in the air is good for them. Storing them in plastic bags (which prevent moisture from getting to them) is not good. It will dry them out.
