My clasps came in. They sent me the wrong amethyst clasp but I actually like it better. The clasps are very substantial and heavy. I used the garnet clasp with a strand of lavender pearls that are more rose tone. I don't know what I am going to do with the amethyst clasp yet.

Beautiful necklace Linda. I love the rich color of the tanzanites. I understand how easily strands become broken when working with smaller gemstone beads. I think they just aren't totally smooth on the inside which leads to them shredding the thread sometimes.
