To all pearl lovers, Is a simple pearl strand more wearable on a daily basis versus jewelled strands (diamond rondelles, etc). While I loave the added jewels, I'm not sure if I'd wear them as often and a simple strand. Is the jewelled strand intended for more special occasions?

You are absolutely right, I do find myself feeling each pearl while wearing them. Nothing feels better on around the neck than pearls both in summer and winter (doesn't freeze). I was/am also not sure about Tahitians from a colour perspective. That is probably why I'm saving for goldens.
