    Stuff I Made

Thank you, Linda! These are just about the last of a lovely ombre strand of tourmaline I bought many years ago. I wish I had more! Not to worry - it's only us old folks around here. :D

    Stuff I Made

Thank you, BWeaves, Pattye, 86C and Red! I am generally pretty gentle on jewelry. My only concern is that they may get caught in my hair. In addition to being such a fine gauge, it's also fine silver, so softer than sterling. But I will wear and enjoy them and just be extra careful :-)

    Stuff I Made

I woke up this morning and felt like I needed to make a new pair of earrings. Because I only have eleventy million pairs already. :D These are FWP drops I bought for the purpose of remaking - they were just the pearl on the hook. I dug out some ombre tourmaline beads I had and made them into...

    Gemandpearlover's Lowly Beading Adventures

Wow, that metallic strand is spectacular! It never occurred to me to create a necklace from matched pairs - food for thought! I'm looking forward to seeing a "neck shot" of this one. :-) I'm dying to do some beading; I placed my first order with Wen over 3 weeks ago before everything really...

    Endless SSP+T

Thank you, Katbran! This one one strand - I knotted it in exactly the order it came to me. I bought it from Cees, my first purchase from him. :-)

    Endless SSP+T

Spoiler alert, Pattye . . . some more are already on the way! ;-) Thanks again for such fast and fantastic service! I keep looking over the color chart you included in the kit - the range is so much better than what I used to find with the silk thread. Once I have some more pearls in my hot...

    Endless SSP+T

Thank you, CathyKeshi, 86Corvettegirl, Charlotta & Gemandpearlover! I love it and wore it all afternoon - until my neck muscles got tired ;-)

    Endless SSP+T

I spent a very nice hour today knotting an ombre strand of baroque SSP+T into a 35"-ish endless rope. I have done knotting in the past with silk. After reading so much about it, I ordered Beader's Secret from Pattye the other day. FOUR minutes later, I got a shipping notification, and two...

So much lovely eye candy :-) I didn't have time to comment on each this week but checked in frequently. I really missed P-G while it was down!

    Bountiful seahorses!

What a beautiful and creative design!! I especially love the short strand with the seahorse on the side.

    Some of my pearls . . .

Thank you, Karin! That makes sense about the posts. When (if) I ever have them re-made, I would get rid of the posts entirely and make them into a dangle. To me, those empty tubing pieces at each corner really need something to hang from them!

    Some of my pearls . . .

Pattye & Ann G - thank you! The gold is fantastic, isn't it? I also love the deep, rich color of the 22K. And thanks for the compliments on the pendant! I actually made two of them - the other is exactly like this, but with a brushed finish. But I like this shiny one better. :)

    Some of my pearls . . .

BWeaves - thank you for the link. And CathyKeshi - thank you for the added information. I'm very curious now. I will have to remember to discuss this with my MIL next time I see her. Maybe she can tell me more about the pieces. When she gave them to me, I just remember her emphasizing that...
