That looks like a circle & bet there is a small knob on top of it. Its OK it really doesn't show but should be priced better than a more symetrical pearl. I like the color. The gold pearl does look like a nice color. Just check as I think he's the one that lists alot of his golden as Australian...

Checked out the ebay naturals. They are small & cream & some yellowed. Says it has some oec & rose cut diamonds so its not really old...20's 30's...Shape seems barrelish..they say round to oval. Gia never said akoya just pinctada species. They are not rose toned & hae a bit of silver. Who knows...

They dont appear too baroque...They are lovely! Don;t even look like akoyas...I guess I must be tired. Had chemo yesterday...

Like it with garnet too. To hand a fully drilled pearls one needs a wire with an end peice toc over end hole & then bend & cut aloop for the top? I would prefer a top mounted half drilled but seems most pearls come fully drilled.
