Tufi, you've gotten some honest and wonderful advice :) Cultivate your pearl interest (it's so easy here lol), save a bit more, and keep looking ... you aren't that far from a much nicer strand!

Through the magic of Pearl Paradise photography, since I'm hopeless with pearls and a camera ... here's a look at my weekend very baroque, imperfectly PERFECT little SOC treasures. They were destined for a simple stock setting, and my jewelers epoxy till I asked one more question, and saw them...

Here I live in what I call a pearl desert in Pennsylvania, and you show me proof there were once serious pearls in PA ... wonderful ... and welcome to an equally wonderful forum JamiePitts :)
