I think I've only purchased one strand of stick-like pearls before from a bead show back home in Oklahoma. They wern't naturally colored though (they were dyed a dark green). This was back before I knew the history of Lake Biwa or Biwa pearls really but their shape and the way colors played off...

Wewt! I just placed my order as well :P I'm really looking forward about these freshwater pearls and people's reactions to them when they receive them! All those strands look wonderful (I got myself a pink colored one...lavander isn't exactly "me"). This will also by my first Pearl Paradise...

Oh! I see rainbows in some of those pearls! They're gorgeous, Jeremy, and if this is only a "maybe" then I'd definitely would grab a strand if they become available. I bet it was fun putting it together :) You're right about the nacre being thicker than the usual Akoya; they look so yummy!
