Last night I restrung my Pearllunar pearls with PowerPro, and I'm thrilled with the way it performs. Knotting was so much easier, and it was a cinch to work with. I think I'm probably going to restring all my pearls! Sure glad I found this thread, and this forum. I've learnt so much.....;)

Okay, my PowerPro arrived so I'm going to restring one of my FW strands and see if I like it better. It does feel a lot more pliable and easier to manage so I'm looking forward to seeing how it knots.

I'm thinking of buying myself another strand of pearls in the 7-8mm size and was wondering about whether to go AAA or Freshadama. Obviously the Freshadama is better quality, but is the difference that much that one would notice it with regular wear? I tend to wear my pearls every day so they...

Is there a specific reason why? I've used it for some of the stringing I've done, and the only con I have found is that it's pretty stiff to work with.

Hmmmmm! Never tried the PowerPro, but I think I'll buy some and give it a try. I usually use Gudebrod silk, or FireLine. Would you say that the PowerPro is easier to work with than FireLine, or are they much of a muchness?

I'm thinking they may be glass pearls, or shell pearls. But I may be wrong........
