    What are these?

Thank you. I might be wrong, but shouldn't be "elephant pearls" dissociated from pearls composed of nacre? Dentine or hydroxylapatite does not qualify as "nacre".

    What are these?

So all proteins, fatty acids, triglycerides, cholesterol and ceramides are gone... But as you mentioned, the objective is more of the extraction of "calcium, potassium, carbon with trace elements of sodium, phosphorus and sulphur"... The medical application isn't comparable with the branch that...

Sorry for the delay just arrived from the province. mmmh, the density is not constant, the above mentioned data for the round gave ρ∆ -10.2% +60.8% I think it may come from the accuracy of the tools used (caliper and weighing scale) This said thank you very much for the information, the ρ of...

    Pinctada Maculata (Pipi) Pearls

Very interesting, could you by any chance take the exact mass of a round pearl as well as diameter? grams for the mass and millimeters for the diameter would be great. As to be precise you might be able to take a mass up to 0.001 grams if you go to a Jeweler when you go back to Paris. I am...

    Pearls could help skin regrow

We did some trial and interestingly, powder proved to be bacteria free, that is powder extracted from clean MOP (no periostracum), and yes MOP has already been used for bone reconstruction. My mother underwent such operation and I can tell you that it works.

    Pearls could help skin regrow

Really sorry about that ordeal. Yes MOP may be used as treatment for burn injuries. I have seen the result of the use of MOP as topical cream, the patient reported relief and scarification was observed to be faster. Let's hope that Dr. Wood will indeed find a solution.

    What are these?

No my point is I would not consider as appropriate "rejected pearls" for medical use. I am nor referring to nacrein of lipids or any other compound that may be beneficial, but to the organic compound filled with bacteria that is found in some rejected pearls. That is the kind of supplement I...

    What are these?

mmmh, wouldn't grinding pure MOP be more "cosmetic" than grinding rejected pearls with organic compounds? What I mean is, the hardness of both would be similar, BUT the cosmetic aspect of the product would definitely recommend using a material that is not filled with organic material. From...

Mikimoto clues kids in on pearl cultivation

This is a bit old, but I found the idea quite good. MISAKI, Kanagawa Pref. ? It was a long way from the high-class jewelry showrooms of Paris, London or Tokyo's Ginza, but on Thursday at Misaki, on the windswept tip of Kanagawa Prefecture's Miura Peninsula, 20 elementary school children were...

IF DIAMONDS are a girl's best friend then pearls must be her first love.
