Looking for any information on this pearl necklace...are they genuine pearls?

I am going to be a wet blanket here. I agree with the comments on photo quality. Try black acetate or mirror. North light. BUT there are dangers if the request is for some legal issue, probate, etc. Only a GIA cert is valid in court. Or a licensed appraiser in jewelry. If they are natural...

What kind of pearls are these? Please help, desperate to find out, no information

Photos are hard for ID my guess is Japanese Akoya. the striations on the one isnt a characteristic of FWCP. If the holes haven't been enlarged they could have value if they holes have been increased to 1.5 to 2 mm this is the best use. Norm

    Can anyone identify these?

It is highly unlikely this many matched natural pearls would be on an earring back that is unsecure. I think.like the rest these are cultured Akoya. Keep you reye open for this color in pawn shops it can be hard to find if you loose one or one becomes damaged. Norm

    Re-stringing Bracelet

Hello . For a large black strand we use. FFF if it fits. Double overhand works but takes to long and is not necessary with FFF . Splitting the strands at the conclusion of the knot and a slight tug will tighten it up. As get as using a tool to draw the knot up use a large embroidery needle...

How to Make a Pearl Necklace.

not only don't I know how to spell it..I didn't know what it was called. My Ma used it for 4-5 mm. We do zillions adds pearls and when in production they can be laid out in the 2-3-or 4 pearls per neck. Rather than pull 4 from a neck the string. Try to do similar hand functions at one time Norm

How to Make a Pearl Necklace.

Some time ago I found cord a Roy (spell) with big rills. (?) worked well for laying out and keeping track of pearls. I have old bead boards also. There is a new SS easy clasp, not cheap but easy for fingers to use, Pinching the clasp opens it to remove male plunger. Just pushing it in...

    My Natural Pearl Collection

Without lot of blah blah. I have bought natural American pearls since 1965. I have enjoyed traveling up and down the Upper Mississippi as part of my Territory. Occasionally, (emphasis added) I would encounter some to buy. Often I had little more than curiosity and no money. Not being allowed...
