That's good to hear. I've nothing to do next spring so I'm thinking about taking a course of some sort, always wanted to do this one. Is the information you get in the course hard to find type information or is it the type of information you can find yourself in books?

Normally those kind of companies only use really little of those "miracle ingredients" (pearl dust, crushed diamonds, gold...) and then they make customers think that there's lots of it, or enough to make it work. I think it's quite sad. As for whitening, I don't really understand why everyone...

Haha, those silly rumors... Here in Sweden I hear them all the time. Sometimes you even hear about goldsmiths (that are supposed to have a good knowledge of all kinds of gems) that say silly things like "akoya pearls are more exclusive than freshwater pearls". Not that they know the name...

What kind of design are you after? Any other gem stones in the design? What metal techniques can we use in the designs? (filigree etc)

If I remember correctly then pinking is some kind of dye that makes the pink overtones stronger. Most akoyas with pink overtones have been pinked I think.

Any plans to list them anyway?

How come PP haven't put the non round strands on their website? Not enough strands?
