    Nautilus pearl

Why would Ken Scarratt write a monograph on several nautilus pearls and only certify one? What I find interesting is the fact that most if not all nautilus pearls mentioned in the last century's literature are said to have a yellow hue yet only one of the five pearls is slightly...

You are probably referring to these pearls: http://www.naturalpearls.ch/7901.html Some of them look very similar to the GIA certified ones.

I believe pearl #1 on the pearl professor last post to be a nautilus pearl too. The nautilus is also capable of perfect drop shaped pearls ;-)

I heard the ask price was 60 000$, but it did not sell. No, we're talking about the exact pearl you photographed. I saw Tuesday a picture of two of the nautilus pearls that clearly show the flame pattern. Jeremy saw it too (but says they're clam pearls). I'll ask if I can share that pic on the...

The GIA lab in Thailand (Ken Scarratt) has certified 4 pearls as nautilus pearls, one of them being from the paper nautilus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argonaut_(animal) (I'm not 100% sure of that info but T. Stern can probably confirm?) It would be bold from the GIA to certify such pearls as...

The IP address of the Atlantis has been banned on the forum last night, Jeremy has no access to the forum. I'm in a different hotel. Caitlin, can you do something about this? My question to Wan was also about their marketing strategy now that the GIE Perles de Tahiti is dead (or almost dead -...
