A new super necklace of 20 - 28 mm. pearls

I agree that it is badly written. The photo looks like a stock of pearls and not the "super necklace". Yvel is usualy very reliable, but they may not be the source of the information.

A new super necklace of 20 - 28 mm. pearls

This showed up in the local Israel press. Not enough information and the company hasn't posted anything on their site. Still, a matched necklace of 20 - 28 mm should be unbelievable. Kudos to Yvel. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4402335,00.html

    Unusual barrel shaped strand!!

The shape reminds me of the barrel shaped corals we are familiar with and that may explains the attraction to these pearls.

inherited some antique pearls with real diamond in clasp (pics)

Nice necklace Jarrod. The pearls are baroque akoya and the clasp is 'Art-Deco' style, an influential visual arts design style which first appeared in France during the 1920s, flourished internationally during the 30s and 40s, then waned in the post-World War II era. Lucky future wife or daughter!
