YUP..... unfortunately they are as ugly in hand as on this picture.... had to force myself not to send them back. of course, colors are less saturated in life, but this I knew before buying.. but this strand has those blues and pinks and pistachio pearls in it.... really ugly......:p:o

I think that pearls you chose are very, very nice and that this design will make you and everybody around you look at them. Make sure that you talk with your hands when you wear it!!.. LoL.....

I'm sure they are not! It would kill the luster and make nacre brittle. To be certified Hanadama, they have to be top quality!

I was under impression that "natural" in case of white Akoyas mean that they were not "pinked". Bleaching is not considered a "treatment", but rather a part of cleaning process so calling those not pinked ones "natural" is referring to the color... Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I found those pearls browsing Etsy... discovered that seller is our own "perlinda".. I bought them. Indah was very helpful. Pearls are better then her pictures suggested ( and she takes good pictures). Fact is that it's possible to make bad pearls look good on pictures, but it's very hard to do...

I had 18k post broken inside the pearl. I drilled again in same spot. Drill went through the gold like through butter...I love my drilling machine.. LoL.....

I wouldn't wear a strand of 16mm gem SS for an occasion like that, but simple pendant for sure, tin cup style necklace or lariat of baroque pearls I would also put on..... or just dangly earrings set without diamonds. But I'm the wrong one to answer this question... I ALWAYS wear pearls...

How can one stop wanting to have more and more of the pearls. Pictures like that make eyes water and mouth get dry.....OMG !! I never liked carved Tahitians, but those faceted pearls are gorgeous !!!... and the drops with the clasp made out of one of them are beautiful too...
