Help me choose from this selection

Here's another suggestion, ask if you can have the strands sent to you (if they're coming from the same vendor) and return the ones you don't want. I have had vendors that I never met do that. You have to be willing to foot the shipping, and put them on your card momentarily, but it might be...

Help me choose from this selection

Try some on before you decide, especially the SS. I love them, but I can't wear them, or rather, there's not much point in me wearing them.

Well, luckily these were not purchased, and she had a very good idea that they were freshwaters. Nothing deliberately misleading (for once), just lack of information. Thanks guys!

Pretty much, yep. I hate telling people the truth sometimes, but the truth will set you free, right? But since they asked I will, and now with greater authority.

I'm pretty certain of the response, but I've been asked, so I'll back my impressions up with the experts. What do you think?

    Low Quality Tahitians

Does the Tahitian government no longer monitor the nacre thickness, or are these coming from somewhere else?

    Goodies!!!

Sheri, Sarah had a pearl that had your NAME on it. A huge freshie that was naturally shaped like an octopus. Seriously, the moment I saw it, it said SHERI! Get her to send you a pic.

    Goodies!!!

I went to my first Jewelry/Gem show at the Santa Monica auditorium yesterday. Sarah was there, and I finally got to meet Fuji Voll. Sarah and I got a little quality time, and I got some very nice pearls from her, but she also pointed me to an amazing vendor, Chris from Bonita Creations. Wow...

I don't use a lot of Kamokas, there were just two on there. I think it is worth it. It was a very popular item with all ages at my market. I also do them with freshies and Tahitians mixed (will add pick) and have also put some silver beads etc. all different lenghs. Pattye never saw those...

Hello everyone! Been more silent than sounding lately, but it's been a busy year. We recently moved from Hawaii to Southern California, and I've been scrambling on many fronts. The last year at my Farmer's market in Hawaii was really good, and so consistent, that I let my website and Etsy...

    The Art Of Imperfection

I use 49 strand flexile wire usually for gems and pearls, unless using something like diamond beads (teeny holes). They stay flexible, and the pearls seem to be OK. Maybe it's just an excuse to string instead of knot!
