I bought the pearl already mounted on a ring. My husband is excited about some new macro equipment he just got. Let's see if I can convince him to try photographing it. Ciao!

Guess what? Today while I was sitting the car I noticed that there was a glow surrounding my pistachio pearl ring. I took a closer look and saw that the pearl was reflecting sunlight! It was about 3 mm high off of the pearl. The glow consisted of hundreds (thousands) little light reflections...

oh and I promised to be so good until you posted these pictures...sigh!

Yes, it's been really tough everywhere, even where people thought they wouldn't be touched. The good news though, the love for Tahitian pearls hasn't diminished. Hopefully things will begin to bounce back soon.

hmm, sounds a bit like sideshow Bob to me. I would hesitate to lay out that amount of cash without having actually seen the pearl first. Some pictures with common objects we can identify (for comparison purposes) would have been better.
