I had PP use a large orbit clasp on my gold SS pearls. It is a lesson in frustration management for me to open it. My finger nail just slips off as the mechanism is so stiff and won't open easily (just as mentioned by others).

Dalmatian Spots and Tahitians I am wearing a jean jacket, spotted shirt and baroque Tahitians with a Sea of Cortez mabe pendant. The Tahitians are one of my "go to" strands. They are baroque about 11-14mm from The Pearl Oasis.

I notice that some of the pearls seem to have a seam along the sides. Is this normal for non nucleated fresh water pearls?

These are the South Sea pearls that I bought at the Intergem show last weekend in Dallas. I am not 100% happy with the clasp I had on hand. So, when I find something fancier that I like, I will restring them. The pearls are 13-15.1 in size and silver white. I do not detect any other...

Everday, I reach for black pants or jeans and usually a black top. Very funerally. Then I choose pearls. Needless to say, black does not show off the pearls. I need to do what you do, and choose the pearls first.

I think with the smaller circled SS I will make a tin cup so I can make a longer strand. The other two I will make into two necklaces so I can wear them together or separately.
