Kookey22, I am posting a picture of a brown Tahitian strand. The color is a natural brown color untreated. The brown varies from greenish brown, coppery and grey brown.

Thank you Cees. That information is very interesting. My pearls are really greenish brown and supposedly a natural colored Tahitian. I have seen dyed brown Tahitians at some of the gem shows. The color is usually very harsh and artificial looking.

Glowing pearls and imaginative layering. I’m amazed the clasps were all able to connect. I’ve bought two strands from the same seller at he same time, and often found the clasps won’t play nice with each other, and I can’t connect them together to form a rope.

Baby nurse, there truly is a wow luster on your baroque SS pearls. I always think of the luster on white SS as being more mellow. Also, I think BWeaves is correct in thinking round SS pearls are more formally. I don't think I have ever worn mine casually during the day.

I just saw these three whimsical carved pearls on my Pinterest feed. The carving is so detailed, I was intrigued. There was not much information on the artist's site about the pearls.

Labor Day Pearls Labor Day Pearls Im not sure exactly what we are doing today on Labor Day but pearls are always in order. I am wearing one of my Tahitian necklaces with I think the largest Tahitian pearls I have 14.8". The pearls have a distinct blue overtone.
