If you are a wholesaler most companies you supply will require you carry product liability insurance. It's pretty common.
Because pearls are obviously the perfect size to get stuck in your nose.
Yeah, I don't know but you might get a kick out of this. The place you can get pearl liability insurance is called PEARL INSURANCE Co. http://pearlinsurance.com/ The guy in the pic looks just like me too. If you squint and cock your head just right......and are drunk. ;)
If your insurer doesn't cover your products here you could buy liability insurance here. General aggregate of $2,000,000 and $1M products, $1M Each occurance, $1M Personal injury runs you $666.00. A devil of a price. I know because I just checked.
Problem there is everything comes from China. I realized that in my last couple of trips to Guangzhou I didn't see a bird around anywhere. Walmart is no worse than anyone else when it comes to selling Chinese goods. Funny thing about my last trip is I bought some leather shoes and inside they...
They do have the International Gem and Jewelry show in Santa Monica beginning of April. It's worth a walk through. I do it on occasion just to see what's happening there. I was just noticing that they don't allow anyone under 8 years old to attend. So bring your ID and be prepared to cut through...
Mine was a nice Rosebud pearl I found in a mussel shell that I dug out of the Illinois River in Peoria about 1969. So long ago that Google was a sound babies made, A Yahoo was a fool, An Apple was something you took the teacher and Twitter was something you did behind a tree. ;)
Not if it's free but I don't think the piece is free lose pearls. I think it's blisters cut out of a shell like the ones I posted and they added a peice of shell to the back to give it a finished look. Just cutting the blisters out would still leave the back unfinished so the appear to have...
I'm thinking it's a sort of mabe cut out of a shell. Probably accounts for the dying. I have shells with the same blisters in them. I'm not a fan of dyed pearls (or shell) at all but it's a pretty piece. Now I will duck and run. ;)
I don't know how medicinal it can be if the oyster spit it out. Just sayin' And BTW I take offense that they would remove the nucleus. That is probably the best part. ;)
