At the show last week, Asia Pearl had a large selection of different WSS mabé pearls in different sizes, shapes and qualities. They had a few lots being offered for more than $200 per pearl.

There is no brand associated with it.

That one gold drop ... if by some miracle there was a match in that lot I would have tried talking him out of just two pearls for Hisano.

In October there was only one A grade lot that went for less than $1000 per momme and it was a straight-size 8 mm lot. This month, only the top-gem lots broke $1000/momme and most A lots were in the 5-$800 range.

He has two lots, both about 20 grams. But he's on his way to Hong Kong next week so he won't be breaking them up. He will show them today and I'm sure he'll be willing to part with them if someone is interested.

The first Autore South Sea tender results are in and there is a noticeable drop from the peak in September.
