That is a very fine question. I don't believe anyone knows for sure. I think I have much longer experience with these pearls than nearly anyone else in the market. I have pearls from the very first few years of harvest ..... are they an accurate indication?

Ah yes .... I have pearls from the first few years of harvest .... I suppose you could say I have some vintage Edison pearls .... As I said earlier in the thread .... happy to discuss this in person with anyone at any of my shows .....

I hope you enjoy them for many years to come .....the only question is - will they be this lustre and colour in 10 or 20 years time?

True - I don't get to Texas ... but I did exhibit in JCK Las Vegas a few weeks ago .... and for a Londoner that feels quite close!

We have decades of experience with South Sea pearls - the same can't be said for Edison pearls.... Caveat Emptor.

The blue is Tahitian, the white is Australian South Sea and the red is freshwater. I suppose I will take all my fancy colour pearls to our shows in September in London, Vicenza (Italy) and Hong Kong.

These natural colour pearls made me think of the USA ....

The golden and whites are South Sea, the pinks and oranges are freshwater and the greys and blacks are Tahitian.

They are finished strands. One of them is a 36 inch rope ....

Nearly all the sets I made for the Hong Kong show in March sold there. I am currently working on a production run...
