And I just gave my earrings a good cleaning. Nothing like a giant blow up photo to make me realize that I need to get out my dazzle stik (sic).

Steve: To me, the color of the pearls will dictate a white or yellow metal. Some gold pearls look washed out next to yellow gold, while other gold pearls look enhanced next to yellow gold. The gold pearls that don't look good next to yellow gold often look enhanced next to a white metal...

What’s my Grandfathers Clam Pearl Worth

That's a really cool setting for that special pearl. Quite a conversation piece, too.

10K Gold Pearl Earrings with another symbol?!

I agree with lary007. That's just a manufacturer's mark for the earring finding. It's not the mark of the company that mounted the pearl in the earring finding. You can buy that type of earring finding from any jewelry company like Stuller, Bella Findings House, Rio Grande Jewelry Supply...

Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of your choices. They all look good. But I like the yellow gold bail with either the mint garnet or the demantoid garnet. While I like both the yellow and white metals with the golden pearl, I prefer yellow metal with the green gems, because it enhances...

OOOOO, I love the setting, too. I'm a sucker for an interesting bail. It just elevates a pendant from just being a pearl, to being a necklace. I've been wearing my new Takahashi BBA pendant a lot. White gold, diamonds, and stunning blue akoyas. Today I'm pairing it with white topaz...

100% little h chested! Grotto ruby pendant and Pointe earrings. I love the asymmetry of the earrings and that they don't exactly match the pendant.

PHEW! Someone bought that neon Tahitian pearl drop I was lusting after on the Second Chance PP Live page. I already have a very similar pendant from Kamoka, La Petite Perlagrina, and I really did not need another, although it was gorgeous. I'm still drooling over all the BBA strands, and...

I have that BeadSmith hand set. It's not great, but it sometimes does the job.

lary007: Your veggie tin-cup is very eye catching, and adorable. I keep wanting the yell, "But the pearls!!!!" Douglas: When I first saw rippled pearls, I wasn't impressed. Then I saw a few more, and the color and luster and thick luster totally won me over.

Kasumi pearl and amethyst earrings from Kojima. Chinese ripples from Pacific Pearls. Believe it or not, these are even more colorful in person than they look in the photos.

    Watch bracelet

I love it!!!! I get my French wire / gimp from Pattye Saab (of Serafil / Beaders Secret fame) on Etsy. I like her French wire the best of all I've tried, and she has it in several colors. I also love her beading needles. Oh, I just love her.

No, the center drop is a regular cultured pearl with amazing ombre' color. The rest of the pearls in the necklace are keshi.

My first BBA strand from PP. 10 mm. Pale blue, with lots of soap bubble colors that don't show up in photos. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't buy one of the white baroque akoya strands at the same time. They were large and soap bubbly, too. This strand is strung on Pattye's sky...

    Pearls, Pugs, and Beads

Gorgeous. I love it. It reminds me of pieces a good weaving friend of mine used to make. She died many years ago, but I still have some of her beaded pieces. She didn't use pearls, but she did amazing things with cabochons. I'm looking forward to your future posts.
