I googled "JT pearls" and several different jewelry companies came up. None of their websites looked like they sold something with that sort of fancy clasp, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if these were synthetic sapphires. They were very popular 100 years ago. And I don't think the bracelet is too big at all. It's just looser than the other one.

Why don't you restring but leave off one pearl on either side of the clasp? The other option is to remove 3 pearls and one spacer bar, and add knots between all the pearls. You'll never know until you try.

WOWZA! They look great! But the weight! If you wear them out, make sure to bring a little velvet lined box or pouch with you, so you can take them off when they get too heavy.

WOWZA, those are huge. And gorgeous. I approve. My earlobe could never handle a pearl that big, but I think you can. If you're doing a stud, get monster ear nuts for the back. I know in Asia they even have them with an extra bit that goes up towards the top, to keep the stud from drooping...
