Quahog ? If any one has suggestions on best lighting and back ground for pics id love to hear it Thankx Everybody

Put them on a white paper towel, outside, but in the shade. So natural, but indirect light. That's always the best lighting for any pearls.

    Tahitians?

I bought and returned several strands of Tahitians before I finally found ones I liked. And yes, they look way different on me than in the box.

    Freshwater pearls?

Yup, dyed freshwater pearls. I think 8 pounds for that strand sounds about right.

Influencer Marketing's Impact on Consumer Trust and Purchase Behavior in the UK Pearl Jewellery Industry

I agree. I'm not in the UK. I too old for your survey. I'm not on Facebook or any social media platform. And I don't follow influencers.

    Mikimoto pearls

I would contact Mikimoto and have them string them with a Mikimoto clasp. I recently dealt with Miki's repair department and they were wonderful to worth with. Not cheap, but if you have authentic Miki's it's worth it, because Miki's hold their value.

Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

JEG, please keep posting. I love the way your mix and match your pearls and your outfits. I don't care if there's a repeat, because I won't remember it's a repeat. I didn't get a chance to post my last few pearl outings. Yesterday it was white linen and 38 year old pearls. My choker...

More lovely pearls from JEG. I always drool over your collection, and learn how to layer from the combinations you put together. No layering for me today. It's too hot out. White gold Mikimoto huggies, and the Hamantaschen from Pacific Pearls. Set by a local jeweler who's no longer in...

Look at these amazing colors from freshwater edison pearls.

Mine have been kept in a drawer with no light. And worn over clothing, so no body oil or sweat.

    Giant clam pearl 30.4kg

I would suggest contacting "Doorstops 'R Us." But joking aside, that's not a pearl. It's a piece of polished shell, and it would made a good doorstop.

Look at these amazing colors from freshwater edison pearls.

These pearls are gorgeous. The color and luster is amazing. Pearl Dreams: I have a gorgeous large pearl drop from Kojima, which was originally dark purple, but has faded to lavender. It's still a gorgeous pearl, but I'm wary of dark purple pearls now. Then again, I did buy a stunning...

Are these real rare high grade black pearls?

They look like Swarovski glass "black pearls". In quotes, because they're glass, and not real pearls. I had some once, before I learned what real pearls looked like.

Thanks everyone! I had a wonderful day. And I ended it with drooling all over the Kojima pearls in the Live Event. That was my kinda party. I have to redo my landscaping, so my pearl budget is going to plants this month.

Happy Birthday to me. I'm looking forward to the PP/Kojima Live event today, and trying hard not to buy anything. I've bought too many gorgeous pearls this year including the ones in these photos. Then again, it's my birthday and I'll buy if I want to, buy if I want to, buy if I want to. You...
