    Three new Tahitian baubles

More baubles... My heart skipped a beat when I saw this Tahitian rose gold/ diamond pendant. Another John at PP creation. It can only be worn on a chain, - I hesitated until I remembered I have one rose gold chain I bought a couple years ago. Couldn't have been a better match, had I planned...

Thank you, Marianne, Sanippy, asurazzy, GemGeek, BWeaves, Pearl Dreams, Cicadalady, Battah and la corsetiere for all your kind words!!! And thanks for not commenting on my icky gardeners hands!! I really only work on my own garden - crews do all my installations now, but school and...

    Three new Tahitian baubles

Thank you, JP! I may decide not to add the diamonds, but when worn one at a time, the slight sparkle might enhance rather than over power. Or perhaps I may add diamonds to the white gold band with the blue pearl, and not the others. They're very thin bands, but I see your point.

    Three new Tahitian baubles

Thank you, Cathy! You're right these stacking rings look like Hisano's "bubble" rings! I like that I can wear one or two at a time, rather than always three. I'll be sure to bring these and the Fiji necklaces to the Ruckus!

    Three new Tahitian baubles

Last April, while celebrating Newberry's birthday at PP I found 2 stunning gem quality Tahitian pearls (not to mention a few other finds, but that's for another thread!). At first I thought I'd make them into studs - I rather liked the idea of 2 different colors for each ear. The slight...

First strand from scratch - what I learned today

Lovely knotting job, and beautiful circled T's!! Last year I bought a load of pastel T's from Jacques with the intent of knotting a rope. I'm emabarrased to say I ended up paying to have them knotted. But when I finally learn (hopefully this year), I hope my first try is as perfect as yours!

    365 Days of Pearls

BN, I love this look - the fact that your layering combo consists of an uneven rope, single ripple strand and a small keshi strand gives this look more levels of interest! A bit trickier to achieve with more than one color, but not impossible. And of course, any one of these would look lovely...

Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Thank you, Amti! Last year I bought 2 36" akoya keshi necklaces and turned one into a rope combining gss and blue Vietnamese akoya pearls - the other into a 17" choker shown with the Kamoka figs. I'm working on another project with the remainders. I don't have a close up pic of the 17", but...
