I'll comment too about those earrings. A fabulous way to get versatility out of them. I am appreciative of your collection of Tahitians as well - you prove that it does make sense to have different variations, eg: multicolor, silver, circle etc..

This is a beautiful idea - it reminds me just a bit of the vintage glass botanical necklaces from Italy and Czechoslovakia. Those flowers are totally eye-catching. I've seen them and not known much beyond thinking they're beautiful.

applecheek - I am sorry to hear this. That is a pretty big size jump and it would likely affect the stone setting, so it's probably a good idea to consider other options. You could look into selling the setting without the pearl and then use the cash to help offset the price of a new ring...

...or a less lazy photographer. ;) It's amazing how these colors change depending on the lighting and surroundings. I agree that bathroom lights probably aren't the best. There are restroom lights in my office which are halogens and in there these pearls really glow. Guess how I know this. :o
