    Exotics!!!

Pearlitis? Good to know -- it's almost as if I feel like I can never have too many....must control myself at times. I find myself spending copious amounts of time looking for the next pearl buy or thinking about the coming gem faire, 3 months down the road. It's so good I know I have support out...

    Exotics!!!

I've been passing on a lot of stuff too just on the hope that some FW exotics will come up. I love, love, love the colors and mirror on them. I'm trying not to feel guilty every time I make a pearl purchase. Because I'm still in school I feel like I really shouldn't.... but then again:rolleyes:

    French Bullion Wire

I have to say I don't think I have the fine motor skills required to make gimp. Heck -- I have a time just stringing little pearls! I've been wondering about the wire guardian myself. If anyone has used it and has a picture on a finished project, please post pictures -- would love to see it. Kate

Absolutely interested in a strand! The big pearls are gorgeous but too big for my ears. But I could look at them all day long!! Kate

    Petal Pearls

Thanks for all your good advice. I'm definitely ready to move on to something more complicated than standard stringing! I'll post pictures when I figure out what I'm going to do and do it! Thanks, Kate

    Petal Pearls

In general, they are about 11-12mm long by 8mm wide. I plan to make a simple necklace and bracelet with them possibly with some small 2 or 3mm rose gold colored beads every few pearls. Although they are peacock or "black", in person they really look more chocolate with green overtones. Kate

    Petal Pearls

I bought some top drilled petal pearls from John Tu and have a question. I haven't worked with petal pearls before and was wondering should I use wire or dandyline/Power Pro to string them?

    Frostlink clasp

I've ordered several times from Bella Findings and am happy they are willing to sell wholesale to lowly hobby beaders like myself. Is Gorilla Glue the best option to glue pearls on to posts? I haven't actually used pearl posts yet but plan to in the near future. I want to order some of the...

    Frostlink clasp

Aaaahhhh -- I get it. I didn't see the gap so it was a little confusing but your picture shows it very clearly! Your pearls are so beautiful by the way! I may have to invest in PP's clasp -- It think the price is definitely fair. I love the look. I like Rio Grande but sometimes I think their...

    Frostlink clasp

Okay -- this may sound like a stupid question but I'm gonna ask: for the pearl that is hanging from the clasp -- how is it attached? It looks like a head pin is involved? Looks like a very cool clasp. Kate

Any experience with esty supplier chinesegemstone?

Re: Caitlin's post above, I have found that to be the case as well. But in regards to Island Bound's comments -- I have the same problem: somehow the enlarged pictures on my computer screen always lead me to think the are going to be bigger than they are. I have to remind myself all the time!

    Large Thai rounds

All of them are beautiful! Hopefully they'll be more in the future! I couldn't get them out of my head last night. I was driving and thinking about them so much I drove right by her house!

    Large Thai rounds

I love them all but especially the coppery looking ones on the right. May I ask what PP will make with them?
