Can anyone help me know what kind of pearls do I have?

Does the clasp have any markings on it? 14k, 10k, 925 , 18k, 585? Anything like that? Are the all shapes like a potato? Also it would be nice to see a photo of the entire necklace. It would easier for the experts to identify them if the photo was a little clear. Does your camera have a macro...

    Candled Natural Pearls

This one GG said was a freeform SSP. How big is the MOP bead used for SSP? I have another pearl with a black spot on it that I candled but those didn't come out so well. It was really hard to hold and photograph. I have a couple photos that are ok. So I will try again later. ;)

    Candled Natural Pearls

This is a pearl I asked about a while ago. I used a mighty brite book lamp and just my iPhone. I know I need a better camera. I did this with a couple baroque pearls I purchased recently too. I will post more photos of them shortly.

advice needed on purchasing Tahitian pearls

They do look pretty close to the vendor photos to me. Both yours and the vendors are graduated and the colors are very close to the vendor. But as far as what the pearls are I would think would be difficult to tell from photos and having them authenticated would be best. They are quite lovely...

Fireballs and rounds- Do they work together?

Pattye, yes it can see that in the back of a few pearls. Thank you all for helping figure our what kind of pearl they are. Katbran, the term tribal is exactly what I would use to describe it with the way it is strung currently. Thank you, I was looking for a way to describe it and couldn't...

Thanks so much for the clarification :) There are so many types of pearls out there and I'm still pretty new at this LOL. I bought these a while ago and decided to play around with them, to see what I could come up with. Odd shapes are really difficult to put together and I only bought them...

Fireballs and rounds- Do they work together?

I really like the fireball pearls but I thought a necklace with all fireballs drilled like this would be too much for me. What do you think? I am going to use either silver or rose gold finding, this is just temporary. The pearls are more pink than the photo but we have had nothing but rain for...
